First Fridays at RAMSA

150 150 Hope Williams

Tonight is First Fridays – an event for The Architectural League of NY members -, Hopeworksdesign will be joining Robert A.M. Stern Architects at its office for drinks, informal conversation, and a behind the scenes look at recent and upcoming projects. RAMSA is a 250-person firm of architects, interior designers, and supporting staff with international experience in residential, commercial, and institutional work and is dedicated to the belief that “new architecture must be rooted in the physical and cultural traditions in which it will take its place.”

Current work includes the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas; two new residential colleges at Yale University; the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia; a new chapel at Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria; and a high-rise garden suburb in Xiamen, China.

I’m excited to learn more about these projects and chat with the firm.

Oh yeah, in case you didn’t know, RAMSA has a new book out this year entitled, “Evidence: The Work of Robert A.M. Stern Architects“.
